# Your enquiry. Handled with care.

## What this form saves

Your company, contact name, email, website, requested service, target market, approximate budget and the business information you provide. We also save the submission date, reference and campaign tags in the page link, if present. Please do not include passwords or sensitive customer data.

## Why we use it

We use the enquiry to respond, assess your requested service and prepare a proposal. Where applicable, this supports steps you request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry. Optional service-update emails require your separate opt-in. You can enquire without subscribing.

## Storage and access

Enquiries are stored in the website’s hosted database, using the Sites hosting infrastructure and Cloudflare storage. The private inbox is restricted to the site owner. Technical hosting providers may process data to operate and secure the service. No model API receives your enquiry through this form.

A temporary, salted hash of the submission IP and hour is used to limit repeated submissions. The form does not store the raw IP in its enquiry database. Infrastructure providers may retain their own security logs. We do not add advertising pixels or tracking cookies through this form.

## Retention and choices

We review inactive enquiries for deletion after 12 months unless there is an ongoing client relationship or another required retention reason. This is a manual review, not an automatic expiry. Request access, correction or deletion, or object to processing where applicable, by emailing Toms. You may also complain to Latvia’s Data State Inspectorate.

Marketing opt-in is recorded with its wording and date. To withdraw, email Toms with “unsubscribe”. Automated marketing sends are not enabled yet. Before any email campaign starts, the chosen sender and unsubscribe process must be configured.

## AI News newsletter

The AI News form sends your email address and consent to Buttondown, our newsletter provider. Buttondown handles address confirmation, newsletter delivery and unsubscribe requests. Confirm your address using the email it sends before receiving editions. We use your address for AI News: AI news, tools, workflows and our creations. Use the unsubscribe link in an email to stop receiving AI News, or contact toms@zarans.com for access, correction or deletion requests. Earlier signup requests are retained as pending in the website database until you confirm through Buttondown; they are not automatically imported as confirmed subscribers. Old cancellation links still cancel the corresponding earlier request. Cancelling an earlier website request does not unsubscribe a later Buttondown subscription.

## Contracting and provider details

The legal invoicing entity and service-specific data terms will be supplied with your proposal before any paid engagement. Hosting-provider contract and international-transfer details can be requested from Toms; these need confirmation before sensitive or regulated client data is introduced.
